Here's how it works:
Stocks will be grouped into four (4) regions:
Consumer Wants/Needs - Stocks that provide goods and services we need for everyday life.
Quarantine Blues - Stocks that help us keep our sanity. These are stocks that have given us something do with our time.
Work From Home - Stocks that have almost become a MUST for working from home.
Munchies - Stocks that make your favorite snacks and beverages. And of course stocks for only the finest of dining.
In order for a stock to advance to the next round, it needs to win its matchup for the day. Winners are determined by most percentage gained or least percentage lost for the day. The winner for each round will move forward on the bracket. You do this by writing their stock symbol or name on the next line.
Example 1: Deckers Outdoor Corp (DECK) ends the day +2.3% vs. VF Corp (VFC) ends the day +2%. DECK wins the matchup and advances to the next round because it had a higher gain for the day.
Example 2: Crocs, Inc. (CROX) ends the day -2.3% vs. Nike, Inc. (NKE) ends the day -2%. NKE wins the matchup and advances to the next round because it had a smaller loss for the day.
Example 3: Deckers Outdoor Corp (DECK) ends the day -2.3% vs. VF Corp (VFC) ends the day +2%. VFC wins the matchup and advances to the next round because it had a higher gain for the day.
